Blue is a more soothing pigment, but may not draw the attention you would want it to. So think bright, bold and contrasts. A good designer can direct you further on this.

Working with a designer who knows what they are doing, they would recommend these types of things for you. The other thing is to remember that less is more. Do not tell the store life history on a hanging ad. They only want to know the pertinent details, who are you, what are you doing, where are you located and when is the sale, or when do you open your doors.

The final thing to check with your ad is the arm test. Hold the printed item at arms length; what draws your eye first? Is that the key element that you want to get to your potential customers? These are all the elements to cover when advertising with promotional door hanger. Work with a good designer remembering that this is your ad, and you have the final say. These ads can be quite fruitful when designed properly for the best use of the ad space available.
